Poppy Project

The poppy has a long association with Remembrance Day.  Once the conflict was over the poppy was one of the only plants to grow on the barren battlefields.  Our children created there very own unique poppy project that will be put on display with the Stockbridge Town Council.

Forest Schools 19.10.2018

Class Two had a super time at forest schools!  We had a running race up the big hill where we all tried our best!  Then we made woodland flags using hessian and sticks.  We collected water from the stream and mixed this with food powder to create some paint.  Then we created our own designs [...]

Y2 Aerobics Session 16 Oct 2018

This morning the children stopped what they were doing and all took part in a 30 minute aerobics session. The children absolutely loved performing to modern music and were being active for the full session. Staff also enjoyed joining in with the session although some staff commented that the could've done with a rest afterwards. [...]

Forest Schools 12.10.2018

This morning class two had a super time at forest schools!  We really enjoyed going to the stream to collect water and collecting natural materials to make magical potions.

Valley in Bloom Oct 2018

We had a lovely time today taking part in the 'Valley in Bloom' project. The children did a great job, on behalf of our school. We planted a number of bulbs and plants including hyacinths, daffodils, crocuses and violas. We can't wait to see the flowers in full bloom, come next spring.

Forest Schools 05.10.2018

This morning the children had a great time at forest schools.  They recapped all of the safety rules that they learnt last week and then explored the woodlands.  All of the children went on a hunt to find their name card and then made a den using natural materials.
