There once was a mouse in a deep dark wood…

During arts week we got all creative using the story ‘The Gruffalo’. The children enjoyed completing various activities including making a huge Gruffalo using box modelling, sculpting toad stools out of salt dough, designing clay mice, stuffing sock snakes, paper bag foxes and toilet roll owls. We ended the week by making a delicious Gruffalo crumble which was enjoyed by the children with a big scoop of owl ice cream. The children also participated in music and dance workshops, which had a woodland theme.

You will find all our wonderful work displayed in the corridor outside Reception.
