Today marked the football final of the Royd World Cup. The tournament encourages children to be active and as well as developing children’s football skills it enables children to develop communication and team work skills. Each child in Year 1 and 2 played a number of group games competing against one another before the top two teams from group A and B played in a semi final. In the final England beat Brazil 2-1. Each child who competed in the final received a medal. Congratulations England!
