Our new topic this term is “Can we explore it”. So far, the children have enjoyed exploring various activities and resources on offer. We have used magnifying glasses to explore the sand and find hidden dinosaur bones. The children have enjoyed exploring the dinosaur nests to find dinosaur eggs. They then match the quantity of eggs to the matching number on the nest. In construction the children have explored the different sized dinosaurs, the children have tried to build towers longer or taller than the dinosaurs. We talked about size and introduced a new language of size. We are excited to continue this topic over the next few weeks including what the children would like to explore during the summer holidays.
