What a wonderful start to the new school year it has been so far this term. This term in Nursery, we have welcomed some new faces to our class and have worked on exploring our environment and sharing our nursery toys, whilst learning new names of our friends. The children have been brilliant and have settled in well to our routine and the big space that we now have in our classroom.
Our topic this term has been “Why do you love me so much?”. We have shared photos with each other of people that we love such as our family, pets and our friends. It has been lovely to hear and see the children looking so happy to share these with each other.
We have been immersed into our topic looking at what our faces look like and what features we all have, talking about similarities between us all and differences too. We have made paper plate faces and painted self-portraits of ourselves too. Outside, we have enjoyed working through our obstacle courses, climbing our climbing posts and hiding and moving through the tunnel with our friends.
