Last week in our 2 year provision we celebrated the King’s Coronation. We did various activities around this. We had a street party in the home corner which the children really enjoyed. With playdough we made buns with pom pom cherries. We made crowns with shiny jewels to wear at the party. In our construction area the children created their own castle using various bricks and blocks. We played coronation music and marched like soldiers. A good time was had by all.
