Class 7 had a fabulous afternoon with a historian learning about the local history of Stocksbridge, focussing mainly on the history of Samual Fox. The children learnt about the history of the paragon, parasols and umbrellas and how Samual Fox designed a lighter-weight structure by using steel frames. The children thoroughly enjoyed spending time using the artifacts and acting out Victorian scenarios.
