In Class One, we have had a great start to the Summer term. We have been “busy bees” learning all about minibeasts. We have talked about the different types of creepy crawlies and where their favourite hiding places are. We have also learnt about all the clever things minibeasts can do, such as how bees collect pollen to make honey, how caterpillars change into butterflies, and how spiders spin their webs.
We have enjoyed completing lots of activities related to minibeasts, including minibeast addition and reading about the things we might see in the garden. The children also enjoyed decorating yummy ladybird biscuits and making symmetrical butterflies.
