The Year 2 children had a fantastic time on their residential visit to Whirlow Hall Farm. They thoroughly enjoyed exploring the farm, taking part in a range of activities such as feeding and handling the animals, and learning more about life on a working farm. The children also loved their walk through the beautiful countryside to Forge Dam Park, where they enjoyed spending time outdoors and taking in the natural surroundings. Another memorable part of the trip was the overnight stay, where they had great fun sharing the experience with their friends and enjoying the excitement of being away from home. Throughout the residential, the children were a pleasure to be with and represented both their families and Royd brilliantly. We were delighted to see them grow in confidence, develop their independence, strengthen friendships and create new ones. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved and we are incredibly proud of how well they conducted themselves throughout the trip.
