Children in class 8 have been enjoying learning the skills to play rugby in their PE lessons. In the first few weeks of this half term, children learnt how to hold the ball and pass to their partner. This week, children have learnt to kick the ball and they have been practising their catching skills too. After the lesson, we had a class discussion about rugby matches and talked about the Red Roses (England Women’s rugby team) playing in the Rugby World Cup Final at the weekend!
