As the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning 2023 gets underway, Royd Nursery Infant School hosted their own coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan takes the time to understand people, so that they can provide the support, tools and inspiration they need to find their best way through. Macmillan do it like this because they understand everyone’s cancer journey is unique. We really value parents / carers and we were delighted to be able to welcome you into school so that you can socialise with one another. As part of the morning, parents / carers whose children are in 2 year old and nursery provision also had the opportunity to take part in a stay and play whilst the rest of school had an opportunity to watch a phonics and reading session. Hopefully you all found this experience valuable. Parents / carers and children have really enjoyed sampling the tasty treats gratefully donated by the community. Thank you for your contributions! We raised a whopping £314.55 and we would like to say a huge thank you to everybody for supporting this amazing charity.
