The children in Rainbow Room have settled exceptionally well and made a brilliant start to the school year. Our three new members have already begun to form friendships, and our existing children have been very welcoming and supportive as they have settled into the class.
This term, we have been thinking about the special people in our lives and exploring why we are loved by our families and friends. The children have enjoyed sharing their ideas and learning more about themselves and each other.
In our literacy activities, we have been listening to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The children had great fun using bowls and spoons to mix porridge, helping to bring the story to life through sensory and imaginative play.
We have also enjoyed listening to Jack and the Beanstalk. As part of our learning, the children experimented with mixing colours to create green for the beanstalk, developing their creativity while exploring early science and art concepts.
We are very proud of how well all the children have settled and look forward to another exciting half term of learning and fun in Rainbow Room.
