This term in Nursery, we have been exploring snow and winter weather through play and discovery. In the maths area, we have been matching quantities to numerals, and in the mark making area we have been drawing and creating snowflakes. In the creative area, we have enjoyed making snowy pictures using a range of materials. Outdoors, we have been working together to draw and construct buildings, developing our physical skills and spatial awareness as we explored obstacle courses, and experimenting with frozen paint to create winter artwork. We have loved learning, exploring, and imagining together with some of our new friends that have joined us this term, as winter filled our world.
