This term in Nursery we have been busy exploring our new topic ‘What is a shadow?’. The children have been very imaginative pretending to be Witches and Wizards in our mark making area, creating some very creepy silly soups! The children loved drawing various things in their soup such as worms, frogs and eyeballs! It was amazing to see how creative they could be and their fantastic mark making skills! In our maths area children have explored 2D shapes where they have posted them through holes in the rockets, matching them correctly. Outside our children have loved exploring the outdoor space, climbing on top of the tunnel and experimenting with different ways of moving, jumping over hurdles. Stepping in and out of the ladders and weaving around cones. The children are very much looking forward to getting stuck in to the festive period this term with our singing practices for the nativity performances and learning all of the actions that go with the songs. We can’t wait to see you there!
