Through our exciting theme, ‘Which is the Biggest Dinosaur?’, the children enthusiastically explored a variety of provision areas, developing their curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. They measured and compared dinosaur heights and lengths, using mathematical language to discuss size and scale. Their imaginations flourished as they created their own dinosaur adventures through role play and storytelling. In the creative area, children experimented with dinosaur printing and designed unique dinosaur patterns using marbles and paint. Outdoors, they challenged their coordination by throwing and tossing onto Triceratops horns, mixed magical dinosaur potions in the mud kitchen, and became keen investigators as they observed dinosaurs trapped inside frozen eggs. It has been wonderful to see the children’s enthusiasm, teamwork, and imagination bring the world of dinosaurs to life.
