Our topic this half-term is based around the theme ‘Bounce’. The children in Class 9 have loved exploring materials in their Science lessons. The children looked at different materials such as metal, wood, plastic and glass and found different items around the classroom made from those materials. The children then had to discuss the properties of those materials using subject specific vocabulary such as; smooth, hard, transparent and shiny. The children were then given opportunities to investigate and explore materials further in continuous provision!
