Reading brings many benefits to children including developing vocabulary and enhancing imagination, creativity and language skills. To create opportunities to develop reading further, the children have enjoyed a trip to Stocksbridge Library. During the visit, the children enjoyed looking at different books and having a story with the library staff. Most of the children also applied for and received a new library card, which they can now enjoy using at their own leisure. All the children were a credit to school and did a great job walking too and from the library.
