Our Reception children have made a wonderful start to the school year and have settled into their new routines beautifully. It has been lovely to see them growing in confidence, building new friendships, strengthening existing ones, and sharing so many happy experiences together. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them!
This half term, our topic has been ‘Why Do You Love Me So Much?’ ❤️ Through this learning, the children have explored what makes them unique and special. They have celebrated both their similarities and differences by creating self-portraits and sharing some of their favourite treasures with their friends.
The children have also enjoyed talking about their families and the people who are important to them. In the coming weeks we are excited to use Google Earth to find some of our homes and our school, helping them make connections between their learning and the world around them.
As we continue our learning journey, we are looking forward to exploring the season of Autumn and discovering the wonderful changes that this time of year brings. 🍂
