Well what an ‘eggciting’ start to our half term… Our topic is called ‘Are Eggs Alive?’ and the eggs arriving at school were a great stimulus to fully immerse our children into their learning. The children have found out lots about chickens including their lifecycle, the hatching process and the difference between girls and boys. The children were able to make a timeline of events and can talk confidently about how the eggs changed over time. We had lots of fun creating our own representations of the chicks as well as having a little hold.
