In Nursery over the past couple of weeks we have loved to immerse ourselves in our topic “Why is water wet?”. We have enjoyed making raindrop collages, printing flower pictures and making observations of different flowers inside and out of our nursery!
We became little gardeners this week too where we planted our own sunflower! We have talked together about what a plant needs to grow and how to look after and respect plants around us. Everyday we make new observations of our sunflowers which we love to see and are so excited to see how tall the sunflowers may grow to!
In our maths area, we have loved singing “5 little speckled frogs” to help us solve number problems. We have been practising our finger numbers to 5 and our ordering skills too to ensure all the frogs sat on their logs correctly.
