The children had a fantastic time at their ‘stay and play’ – thank you to all the grown-ups who were able to make it. We took part in lots of activities based around ‘Chinese New Year’. We have learnt all about Chinese New Year in school and learnt some interesting facts. This year is the year of the Dragon and red is considered a lucky colour. The activities we took part in during our stay and play included – making a Chinese Dragon, having a go at writing letters and numerals in Chinese symbols and making wax resist firework paintings.
