This half term Nursery has been focusing on the topic “Why is Water Wet?” We have been exploring this through enjoying water play, creating collages of rain drops and turtles and developing our fine motor skills by painting sea creatures. We have also been learning about what a plant needs to grow. The children planted their own sunflowers and are responsible for making sure they have enough water and sunlight to grow. We have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather recently by spending lots of time outside, playing in the water tray, watering plants in our garden and creating waterfall runs using piping.
