Forest Schools – 22.03.2021

Children were taught how to stay safe in the woodlands and spot potential hazards. They also looked at staying within certain boundaries. The children were given time to explore the woodlands and use their imagination. The teacher then hid name cards in the woodland for the children to find.

Multi-Skills Challenge March 2021

Key stage 1 have taken part in 10 multi-skills challenges. They have thoroughly enjoyed completing the different challenges and learning new skills such as passing a ball around their body and seeing how far they can jump from a standing position.

FS2 Arts Week

For Arts Week, the children in Class 1 and Class 2 read the story 'Billy's Bucket'. We then did lots of art activities based on the story. These included making clay starfish, making bubble wrap jellyfish, painting our own under the sea scene and lots more. We are really proud of our achievements!

World Book Day March 2021

We have been looking at the story of Elmer on World Book Day. The children enjoyed making Elmer's ears and making an Elmer out of milk cartons. We looked at being unique and what makes us special. The children looked fantastic in their costumes!
