On Tuesday 27th September, Year 1 and 2 were invited to participate in a fun run challenge over at Deepcar St John’s. We started off with an aerobics warm up before beginning the fun run. The children were encouraged to run, jog, skip and walk whilst counting how many laps they had completed. There are many benefits to exercise such as, improvement of: memory and brain functions, heart health, sleep. It also helps us to feel good (reduces anxiety) and develops our strength and balance to name a few. The children had an amazing time and worked very hard! Well done!
