The children in FS2 had a fantastic World Book Day! The children came to school dressed up as their favourite characters from stories and in their comfy pyjamas! This year we focused on the book ‘Elmer’ by David McKee. We shared the story together and talked about what makes us unique and special. The children had lots of fun completing different activities linked to Elmer such as painting our own colourful Elmers and making Elmer masks.
We also had some super creative Elmer models and pictures brought in that were made by the children at home. All of the FS2 staff were really impressed by all of the children’s hard work! Well done everyone!
