Class 7 focused on the continent North America. They sketched a Statue of Liberty, looking at shading and line and they created the Grand Canyon using oil pastels. They look so effective! Children in Year 2 take part in a weekly "Active 15" lesson. This 15 minute lesson is where children can either walk, jog or run for 15 minutes. Alternatively children can take part in specific 1 minute exercises which are positioned around the playground and include exercises such as star jumps, toe taps, high knees etc. [...]

Last week our Year 1 and Year 2 children took part in the Sheffield Schools Skipathon. Well done to everyone who took part in Walk to School Week last week to promote healthy living! Each class competed against each other to see which class had the most children walking to school! Congratulations to Class 7 who had the most children walk to school for the week commencing 5th October!
