For World Book Day/Week, our nursery children immersed themselves in the magic of The Gruffalo—listening intently to the story, joyfully reciting its rhythm and rhyme, and bringing it to life through imaginative role play. Together they crafted colourful collages, painted the Gruffalo and his woodland friends, looped paper chains into slithering snakes, and happily got messy creating a ‘Gruffalo crumble’ in the messy tray. The children have thoroughly enjoyed this book as our theme these last couple of weeks and their learning has been incredible!
