Well, we have definitely sprung into Spring in Class 1, with a very busy start to this half term. So far this half term we have celebrated Chinese New Year and Eid. We thought about similarities and differences when discussing other cultures and traditions and we enjoyed making our own representations of Chinese lanterns, designing Mendhi patterns and using finger painting to decorate mosques. We have also had some ‘eggciting’ visitors to class. The children have enjoyed waiting patiently for the eggs to hatch and they did! 9 of them! The children continue to enjoy watching the chicks grow and change over time.
