What a brilliant day we have had in Reception. All the children made a great effort with their costumes and they all looked wonderful!
This year we focused on the book Elmer. The children loved listening to the story and we had lots of conversations around similarities and differences and that it’s ok to be different as not one of us is exactly the same. Following our story we completed many World Book Day activities including making colourful elephant ears and using our cutting and sticking skills to make some amazing patchwork Elmers.
We would like to say a big thank you to all our children and parents/carers for being so creative and supportive of this year’s reading event.
